On Saturday, November 1, 2025, we hosted a creative workshop inspired by Rada Niță’s Bestiario Transilvano at the Accademia di Romania in Rome.
The event offered participants the opportunity to share with their children, born in Italy, some of their childhood memories and fairy tales passed down by their parents, strengthening the connection between their Romanian roots and life in Italy.
At the same time, I wanted the other participants, coming from countries such as Ukraine, Turkey, and Italy, to find common elements between our culture and theirs.

During the workshop, both children and adults explored the fantastic and symbolic world of Transylvania, discovering cultural connections through art and creativity.

A special thanks goes to the Accademia di Romania a Roma and the Ambasciata di Romania for their invaluable collaboration and support, which made this rich and inspiring afternoon of culture, creativity, and sharing possible.
